Health and safety are core values for ABC and members. As ABC chapters and members prepare to host media, lawmakers, students and/or the general public at an event or jobsite, watching this updated webinar is a must in that process! ABC National will share guidelines, best practices and checklists to review if and when members or chapters host a public event that involves construction equipment and/or an active construction jobsite. Speaker Info Greg Sizemore is ABC’s vice president of health, safety, environment and workforce development. With more than 45 years of industry experience, Sizemore is a leader and subject matter expert in construction and the business community on health and safety and workforce development initiatives. Prior to joining ABC in 2015, Sizemore played an integral role in the formation of competency-based health and safety, project management and craft workforce development programs. Erika Walter is ABC’s director of media relations and oversees ABC’s messaging and strategic goals and in the media through media inquiries, news releases and statements, pitches, op-eds and other forms of relationship-building with the press. Since Erika joined ABC National in December 2020, the association’s media hits have increased from 15/day to more than 80/day. Prior to ABC National, Erika worked for ABC Pelican and ABC of Louisiana, the Partnership for Public Service, Rep. Steve Scalise, R-Louisiana, Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network. Joe Xavier is senior director of health and safety for ABC. He has served in leadership, quality, health, safety and compliance roles since 1992. Prior to joining ABC National in 2022, Xavier was the CEO of Summit Sustainability Solutions. He enjoys working with chapters, members and other organizations to promote total human health. Moderator Info Donna Reichle is ABC’s senior director of communications and oversees ABC’s national communications initiatives, including public relations, media relations, crisis communications, member communications and spokesperson training. She has more than 30 years of experience in association public relations, including stints at the National Association of Home Builders, Community Associations Institute and National Automobile Dealers Association.
