The OSHA 10-Hour Construction course is designed as a Hazard Awareness training course for employees working in the construction industry. While required by some jurisdictions and clients, OSHA considers the 10-hour course to be a voluntary program offered to employees by their employer. The course helps employees to recognize, reduce and report hazards associated with their daily work tasks in order to eliminate employee injury. Students receive an OSHA 10-hour card issued by the Region VI OSHA Education Center after the completion of the course. The cards do not have an expiration date.
