Construction 101 provides a foundational overview of the construction industry, designed for individuals who are new to the field or looking to strengthen their understanding of how projects come to life. This course explores the full lifecycle of a construction project—from concept and design to budgeting, scheduling, procurement, field operations, and project closeout.
Participants will gain insight into the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, and specialty trade partners. The class also introduces essential concepts such as construction delivery methods, basic terminology, safety fundamentals, project documentation, and collaboration across teams.
